Paul Bates, MBA, LEED-AP, BD&C, serves as the National Program Manager of Education and Training for UL Environment and is responsible for developing and delivering sustainably oriented education and training programs to a range of audiences including building operations, design professionals and students as well as professional trade organizations and consumers.

Paul has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Interior Design and Marketing and Business Administration. He is an author, lecturer and internationally recognized speaker on topics related to indoor air quality issues, healthier sustainable products and other aspects of sustainability that impact market segments such as commercial office, healthcare, education, as well as government and residential.
